At Desert Shadow our aim is to be as friendly as possible to people, to animals & to the Earth. The use of plastics is not ideal but for some products it is unavoidable. Our solution to this is offering you a discounted product to enable you to do your bit and help us do our bit for the planet.
How this works
YOU RETURN YOUR HABITAT BOTTLES via THE POST OR DROP THEM OFF AND WE WILL REFILL THEM FOR YOU.

Our plastic refill program offers you the opportunity to reuse your existing Shampoo & Conditioner bottles to reduce our use of plastic in the home.
Our initial idea was to make the bottles glass...... but you know how that could go in the bathroom with the tiles in the bath and shower!
Benefits & savings
Okay, so you pay for posting the bottles back to us and in return we offer you $9.95 discount on each refill item.
If you refill one bottle you are doing a good deed by using Palm oil free and saving the plastic, if you refill 2 bottles or more you are doing a good deed and saving a lot of money which can only be good.
Our Karma box with 2 to 4 empty bottles will cost you $8.30 to send with Australia Post.
This equates to the following savings:
Refill 1x bottle and save $1.65.
Refill 2x bottles save $11.60
Refill 3x bottles and save $21.55
Directions for refilling your bottles
Here is how you can get your bottles refilled and save plastic & money.
1. Keep your Karma box if you ordered your original Shampoo & Conditioner from us online.
2. Wash & dry your empty bottles.
3. Return the bottles in your Karma box. Then you are reusing the karma box and the bottles! Fill out the card supplied and attach to the box or Adress the parcel like this:

4. Place your refill order online & pay
5. Wait for your Karma box to return to you with your refilled products.
* Please allow time for your bottles to get to us, be sterilized and refilled. 1 week is usually a good amount of time for that process of sending, receiveing and sending back to you.
**Please note that postage of the refills is payable by the customer. Free postage for all orders over $115 Australia wide.

Purified Aqua, Behenyl Alcohol, Glycerin, Behentrimonium Chloride, Argan Oil, Glyceryl Stearate, Australian Kakadu Plum extract*, Australian Nettle extract*, Chamomile extract*, Olive Leaf extract*, Orange Sweet oil*, Petitgrain oil*, Bergamot oil*, Lemon oil*, Rosemary oil* & Spearmint oil*, Guar Hydroxypropyltrimonium Chloride, Phenoxyethanol, Citric acid. Natural components of essential oils: limonene, linalool
